Hunting. Fishing. Recreation We invite you to take part in the 10-th specialized exhibition of hunting and fishing sports, tourism, active recreation industry and associated industries, will be held in the Irkutsk exhibition complex OAO "Sibexpocentre" on May 30 — June 02, 2012.
The Irkutsk region has long been famous for its diversity of hunting and fishing fauna. Hunting and fishing grounds cover an area of 69.4 ha. It is 90% of the region area. It can literally be equated with the total territory of Italy, Denmark, Portugal and the UK.
The largest navigable rivers flow through the area of the Irkutsk region. They are Angara, Lena, Nizhnyaya Tunguska. The deepest lake in the world — Baikal — is located here. It is the largest natural reservoir of fresh water. There are also such reservoirs as the Irkutsk Hydroelectric Power Station, Bratsk Reservoir and Ust-Ilim Reservoir; thousands of lakes and crystal clear mountain tributaries of the large Siberian rivers and lakes. There are two nature reserves, national park and 14 sanctuaries in the region.
From ancient times, human being was interested in hunting and fishing. Today, about 50,000 people from the Irkutsk region devoted themselves to the professional sport or amateur hobby of hunting and fishing, it is not to mention visitors from all around the world. These people need the fellowship, the saturation of their needs for hunting and fishing gear, inventory, equipment, training and understanding of modern philosophy of hunting and fishing.
The Irkutsk exhibition "Hunting. Fishing" is held in the informal period of hunting and fishing in the Irkutsk region. A lot of manufacturers and suppliers of fishing and hunting products produced in Russia and abroad exhibit their expositions in OAO "Sibexpocentre". Not only hunters and fishermen are interested in this exhibition, but also people who prefer to lead active lifestyle. In 2011 more than 15,000 people visited this exhibition. A distinctive feature of the 10-th "Hunting. Fishing" exhibition will be the partnership relationships and cooperation with the Association of hunting and fishing exhibitions of the CIS countries and with the world-famous company "Silver Stream". Mr. Zaslavsky will give master classes in the frameworks of this exhibition.
